After The Ball
F all the social events which have made New York society famous, both for lavishness of expenditure as well as for taste, none has attracted such widespread attention as the Bradley Martin ball, but lately passed into history. For many weeks prior to the affair social circles on both sides of the Atlantic have been agog with excitement, not unmixed with speculation, as to the ultimate success of the ambitious attempt on the part of the hostess, who had declared that it was her intention to make her ball surpass anything ever given in this or any other country.
